Fragments of history in every shade of blue. Roman glass from Afghanistan—weathered by centuries beneath the earth—is joined by turquoise-blue Afghan seed beads, recycled vinyl discs from Nigeria and dark Ethiopian white metal. Roman-era glass has survived for centuries along the ancient trade routes that connected Central Asia with a much wider world, its surface transformed with time and wear.
Broad Blue, Roman Skies brings those distant places and histories together in one richly layered wrap—a small piece of the past, made to travel forward.
